STRATTON VILLAGE HALL

Stratton Village Hall is located at the very heart of the village,
adjacent to the Village Green, the thatched Saxon Arms Public House and 13th century St. Mary’s Parish Church.

Superb facilities are available at the Village Hall, which was completed
at the end of the millennium year,
having been built along traditional
lines but with a modern, stylish
interior.

The Hall has two multi-purpose
rooms: The Ashley Hall and The Aylott Room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and there are changing rooms and toilet facilities. Free parking is available in The Square beside the Village Hall.

The Ashley Hall is a large airy room measuring 18 metres by 11 metres
(60 feet by 36 feet) and it is ideal for parties and discos, drama and dance productions, and many types of
indoor sports. 200 people can be seated comfortably in this room.

In addition to the large number of rectangular tables available, there are 8 circular tables each capable of accommodating
8 people. In the past, these have been found to be ideal at Wedding Breakfasts.

An analogue hearing aid loop is fitted in this room.

The Aylott Room is suitable for smaller events and committee meetings. It is carpeted and comfortably furnished. It can easily seat 40 people.

The large kitchen has ample work surfaces and storage space. It is fully equipped with a double oven and
hob, ‘fridge, freezer, microwave oven and commercial dishwasher.

Crockery, glasses and cutlery is available for up to 150 people.
Whether The Ashley Hall or The
Aylott Room is being used, the
kitchen is available to the hirer at
no extra cost!

The changing rooms are equipped with showers, hairdryers and hanging space. They are available for those using the Village Hall or for those needing changing facilities for sports on the nearby playing field.

Male, female and disabled toilet facilities are, of course, provided.

A portable stage is available. Thirty-two units, each 0.75 metres square, build into a platform suitable for bands,
discos or high table.

Presentation equipment including overhead projectors,
screen, flipcharts, television, video player and a Public Address system is available at additional cost.

The Village Hall holds a Premises Licence which permits all licensable activities at all times. Please enquire prior to booking regarding the sale of alcohol.
